I love to read. I moved not too long ago and I couldn't take all the books I had collected over the years to my new place. After packing up what I could I donated the rest. I must've donated some 250 books or so. I then bought myself a Nook. I still by hard copies of books now and again, but mainly download them now.
This is a random shot of some books on my shelf.
BOOKS! What a great B word! Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE to read. Edward Rutherford is great, I read 'The Great Gatsby' in high school, read 'Jonathan Livingston Seagull' in Catholic School (even though the nuns said he was a Methodist), I've been told I really need to read 'The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo', and I read 'Don't Know Much About History'.
ReplyDeleteStill don't.
How depressing to leave books! New follower here. I’m enjoying reading my fellow “A to Z”ers. I look forward to visiting again.

It's a pleasure to meet you on the Challenge. Your photos are wonderful! In my post tomorrow, I include a link to my daughter's photography, if you're interested.
ReplyDeleteWe have a lot of books on our shelves, but since getting my iPad, I've converted to eBooks.
ReplyDeleteI also love to read and have always collected/hoarded books. It was always so hard to get rid of any. Over the years though I've dwindled down the collection and getting an iPad has helped. But I also still love the occasional hardback or paperback book! Great post! Thanks and good luck this April!
