Relaxing Sunday

After making breakfast and reading the Sunday paper (and attempting the crossword) , I went to the local Farmer's market and picked up some amazing little goodies. I tried a new fresh fruit drink that had a variety of mixed berries floating around inside. The straw they gave me had whole berries coming up from my drink. Came home, read some more, and took a little nap. It was an amazing and relaxing way to spend a Sunday off.

The wind blew away all the clouds...and trees, leaves, debris, power...

Night

Two days ago, we had Santa Ana winds that created havoc in many cities. In a few parts of my city, power was out. I had power but across the street and stretching for a few bloks over did not. It has since been restored a few hours before this foto was taken.

Also while this was taken, there was a bit of police activity. I'm not sure what happened but it did bring out the police helicopter (the light on the right above the middle section edge of the foto).

Tuesday

It was a very windy Monday night and continued through Tuesday morning. Many, many, many people were left without power...but my work was up and running and so were we. We were extremely busy. I heard stories all day of fallen trees and lots of debris everywhere. Many people were just happy we were open for business. It was overall a very tiring but good day.
